• Abuse is never a legitimate excuse to abuse.
• Emotional violence will never end physical violence.
• Responding to physical violence with emotional violence or vice versa makes you the perpetrator too.
• Emotional abuse is more clever and devious than physical violence; therefore, it often passes for concern.
• The problem will never become the solution; therefore, responding in kind with abuse or violence of any kind to abuse or violence of any kind is part of the problem, not the solution.
