• Internally following something is natural, necessary, and unavoidable, which leaves two questions: what do you follow and with what do you follow your following?
• Following is paying attention to something, but with what do you pay attention to that attention that is following?
• If you pay attention to your attention with self-concepts or self-images, then your results are ego enhancing either negatively (shame) or positively (pride).
• If you pay attention to your attention with emotions (anger, anxiety, depression, guilt, pride, shame), then your results will be the entanglement or further entanglement in a web of emotions.
• If you pay attention to your attention with a second attention, then your results will enhance your authentic self and positive work goals.
