•1 External stimuli (S) that produce human responses (R) often produce instinctive, reactive, or primitive responses (S-R).
•2 In-between S-R is a stronger stimulus known as thinking (T) which when considered can lead to more intelligent responses (S-T-R).
•3 In-between S-T-R is a more substantial stimulus known as playback (P or looping thoughts) which when considered can lead to more intelligent responses (S-T-P-R).
•4 In-between S-T-P-R is a more forceful stimulus known as hearting (H, taking to heart, or identifying with) which when considered can lead to more intelligent responses (S-T-P-H-R).

•5 In-between S-T-P-H-R is a more intense stimulus known as feeling (F) which when considered can lead to more intelligent responses (S-T-P-H-F-R).
