Composition of Unfermented Camellia Sinensis or Green Tea
- Epigallocatechin gallate or EGCG is the most abundant catechin in green tea.
- It is not found in black teas, because black teas are processed teas.

- White tea is a special form of green tea. It is one of the most delicate teas available.
- White tea is so named because green tea leaves are picked before they are fully open and while they still have fine white hairs on them.
