Weakness Is Strength

Be Strong with Humans & Weak with God

WEAKNESS

“Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.”–II Corinthians 12:10

  • It is not “what” that matters so much as it is “how.”

For instance, it is not the “what” of weakness, the fact of weakness, but, rather, it is the “how” of weakness, the way you are weak that matters.

HOW WEAK

  • When you are weak for people, places, or things–your weakness is a detriment.
  • When you are weak for God, your weakness is an advantage.

Right Weakness

“And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”–II Corinthians 12:9

  • Pray for profound weakness.
  • To have weakness is a great gift.
  • Use your weakness wisely.
  • Only the weak will surrender.
  • Surrender is the only option.
